Teeth Whitening

Everyone wants a brighter smile and Dr. Vernon can help. Our teeth whitening treatment is simple and effective. We offer both take-home and in-office whitening systems.

For take home, we give our patients the Opalescence product. It’s a safe and effective method to remove old stains. The kit comes with customized clear trays that are made to fit your teeth. Also included is the whitening gel, which will be placed in the tray. You wear them for only 30 minutes during the day or night. After 10-14 days you will notice a difference.

We use Boost! for our in-office teeth whitening treatment. We chose this system because it’s possibly the simplest and most effective professional whitening treatment on the market.

Invisalign

invisalign is the most popular way to straighten teeth for adults and teens because it is comfortable, discreet, and effective. Dr. Vernon and his Salt Lake City staff are experienced with Invisalign.

What is Invisalign? Invisalign is a series of clear aligners that gradually straighten teeth. You wear each set of aligners for two weeks or less, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Each aligner will slowly move your teeth further and further into their ideal position.

Toward the middle part of your treatment, you can change aligners in the comfort of your home, at which point you’ll only visit us about once every six weeks to ensure that your treatment is on the right track. Total treatment time averages 9-15 months.

Invisalign is the perfect teeth straightening system. It can fix problems such as crossbite, overbite, underbite, crowded teeth, and widely spaced teeth.

In addition to managing discomfort, pain and anxiety, patients will be more relaxed, which leads to less muscle soreness after procedures. Furthermore, some types of sedation dentistry treatment have amnesiac effects, so the patient won’t even remember the visit afterward. During the session, patients will be relaxed and calm, and will be able to answer questions and respond to directions. We have a cancellation policy in place requiring 48-hours notice for regular appointments and 4 business-days for specialist ones. Non-compliance incurs a $50 fee for standard appointments and $150 for specialty appointments.
